Credit System of Doctor´s study programme of Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology

1. The Credit System is based upon the principles of the European Credit Transfer System (hereinafter referred to as "ECTS") and is the quantification criteria of the study supervision.
The Credit System lets students gain each year a minimum number of credits required for proceeding to the next year of study.
The student follows individual study plan to receive credits in accordance to the study programme of the appropriate field of the Doctor´s study programme (Attachment 1).
For the proper completion of studies in Doctor´s study programme it is necessary to obtain a number of credits equivalent to at least a sixfold of the number of years of the standard study period.

2. Processual criteria (article 9, paragraph 1, Study and Examination Regulation of Doctor´s study programmes VFU Brno).
For proceeding to another year of study, the student must meet the processual criteria defined in Study and Examination Regulation of Doctor´s study programmes VFU Brno:
a) for the advance to the 2nd year of study he/she must receive a total of at least 45 credits,
b) for the advance to the 3rd year of study he/she must receive a total of at least 100 credits,
c) for the advance to the 4th year of study he/she must receive a total of at least 150 credits,
d) for the advance to the 5th year of study he/she must receive in the 4th year of study at least 60 credits.

3. Receiving of the credits (article 9, paragraph 2, Study and Examination Regulations of Doctor´s study programmes VFU Brno).
Credits are received especially by passed exams, received credits, publication activity and eventually by other activities in accordance to the study programme of the appropriate field of DSP, authorized by Scientific Cuoncil.

The student receives credits for the following activities:
