The courses taught at the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno are completed by gaining a credit or passing an examination. It has been specified how many hours per week are devoted to each taught subject. The first number means practical teaching hours followed by lecture´s hours. Two main terms are distinguished at the university: Summer (S) and Winter (W).

The Unit of Hygiene and Technology of Meat and Meat Products provides training for VETUNI students in subjects dealing with hygiene and technology of meat and meat products, food microbiology and food chemistry. Furthermore, this section carries out research and development in the already mentioned areas.
